Ignite Mentorship 2019: De-Mystifying Sequencing with Rebecca Hollingworth

Whether you took Yoga Teacher Training for your own personal development or to teach, it’s time to take your practice and teaching further! The 2019 Ignite Mentorship Program offers you the opportunity to continue expanding your skills with members of our Teacher Training Faculty.

Increase your knowledge, confidence and skill in four sessions aimed at the foundational elements of teaching: Accessibility, Alignment, Sequencing and Presence. Take one module based on your area of interest or combine the four modules for a dynamic year of development!

This program is designed for recent graduates of a 200 hour program, teachers in their first year or two of teaching or yoga teachers who have been away from teaching for a while and want to get back in to it.

At Semperviva, we believe in the power of the community. Gain new tools in a supportive group environment and put what you learn into practice right away!

Modules count towards Continuing Education credits with Yoga Alliance or Semperviva’s 300 Hour program.

De-Mystifying Sequencing

Sequencing is the art of creating balance between your practical skills as a teacher with the innate wisdom of how the body moves.

A well sequenced yoga class must be built on a foundation of stability, strength, flexibility and ease. In our work together, you will learn how to face the challenge of creating sequences that are safe and effective, as well as creative and inspiring. You will learn how to theme a class to create an experiential mood, and how to relate that theme back to the students’ daily life experience.

When your class is sequenced in a clear, safe and intuitive way, the art of teaching feels effortless and full of passion and purpose.
