Connect the Dots: Demystifying the Chakra System with Julia Doty

In yoga “the body is the vehicle, consciousness is the driver, yoga is the road. The chakras are the map.”
– Dr. Anodea Judith

Like any map, the chakra system doesn’t show you where you have to go, it shows you where you CAN go. Join Julia for her popular immersion that explores many aspects of energetic anatomy – including comparisons and parallels with many other holistic and conventional medical and energetic models. Learn how to navigate the relationship between mind, body and spirit as a means of uncovering the vitality, health and potential that already exists within you.

This 2 day workshop will consist of both theory and practice; combining hatha and kundalini yoga, somatic techniques, bio-energetic exercises and several forms of meditation to explore the various physiological and psychological characteristics of each chakra. You will gain tools to balance each chakra and the system as a whole, and leave feeling clear, expansive and vibrant.

Day 1 will focus on the lower 3 chakras: root, sacral and solar plexus – vital grounding work to connect us to the manifesting current.

Day 2 will focus on the upper 4: heart, throat, third eye and crown – a stronger focus on meditation as we connect to the liberating current.

This workshop is open to all levels.

For 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified teachers the credits of the course can be applied towards the 500 hour certification, and is eligible for 10 hours CEU with Yoga Alliance. Continuing Education Units are required to maintain your status as a Registered Yoga Teacher.
