Breaking Down Backbends: A Practice for your Hips and Heart

For many of us the world of backbending can be scary to explore. Not only does it take courage to lean into the unknown and allow yourself to be vulnerable, it also requires anatomically, that your body to properly prepared.

Join Misha for this two hour practice where we will identify the key components to backbending, as well as look at how to move in a way that we feel connected, stable and free to express.

This workshop is for all levels.

Misha Steiner

Misha first discovered yoga in 2006, while living in Whistler B.C, Canada. After a lifetime of involvement in the world of dance, turning her focus to yoga was a natural, easy progression in her journey of self discovery. In 2009, she completed her first 200hr yoga teacher training while living in Toronto, Canada. Since then, she has completed over 900 hours of formal training as well as countless additional hours with some of her most beloved teachers. She is ERYT-200 Certified with Yoga Alliance.
