Mom and Baby Yoga Classes Vancouver
Mom and baby yoga is a wonderful way to take care of your mind, body and baby post pregnancy. Strengthen your core, improve your posture, build confidence and relax using inspirational yoga postures, breath techniques and meditation. Meet other new moms and create community. Open to mothers 4 weeks post-delivery or 6 weeks post-caesarian. Please have midwife or health care provider’s permission before starting. Babies 1 month-pre-crawling (or not crawling too far or too fast!)
Why I Love Teaching Mom and Baby Yoga?
It is pure joy teaching mom and baby yoga! I am blessed to have the opportunity of celebrating and supporting many of these women throughout their pregnancies and then into motherhood with beautiful babe in arms. These babes are wise little souls who remember the sweet sound of OM from prenatal classes when they were in the womb!
I love creating space for community among mamas to connect and share and relate. I love that as we meditate, chant, sing lullabies, dance, breathe, do partner yoga and massage we are not just strengthening mom’s body and mind but also stimulating babies brains and bodies! We are doing nothing short of changing the world in this class as we focus on more conscious parenting and living and at the same time honoring how sophisticated our babies consciousness is too.
The first few years of life are so precious and important as this is a babes foundation for life. I am so grateful to be a part of it all!
