Starts January 19th : Yin Yoga Teacher Training and Intensive with Bernie Clark

Yin Yoga is a unique way to deepen your yoga practice and touch tissues rarely worked in more active yang styles of yoga.

This workshop is designed for students who have been practicing Yoga for at least one year and want to deepen their understanding of the practice. Prior experience in Yin Yoga is not required. You do not have to desire to become a Yoga teacher, but you are expected to have a passion for Yoga.

February 1st-3rd : Inspired: Principles in Action with Rolf Gates

The goal of yoga is to get us in touch with the sweetness, the beauty, the sacredness of life. The principles of yoga are the means for accomplishing that goal. Over the course of this weekend, we will explore these principles which when applied whether at home, at work or on our mats bring us into alignment with the well-being that surrounds us, and with our own true nature. As the title implies, this weekend will celebrate living from the inside out.

Friday's session will explore the cultivation of an open mind and inner stillness. On Saturday, we will learn to hold our attention on that stillness. Finally, the Sunday afternoon session will be dedicated to "living from the center of our wheel" on our mats and in our lives.

January 26th : Energy Body Workshop with Bernie Clark

The Eastern and Western Views of the Subtle Body

In this workshop we will investigate the various models the Yogis of India, the Yogis of China and the Medical Scientists in the West have developed to explain the workings of the body's energy and its associated systems.

We will explore the world of prana and the energy channels and vortexes of Indian Yoga (called nadis and chakras) and contrast it to the world of Chi (Qi) and its associated network of channels (called meridians) utilized in China. Then we will discover how modern scientific investigations in the West (Energy Medicine) are finding remarkable parallels to these ancient models.
