I love to share what has made my life more interesting, dynamic and more fun. What attracted you to yoga?No more gyms!!! I also just knew my entire body and mind would get a complete workout with yoga. How long have you been practicing yoga?About 5 years now. What teacher has had the biggest impact on your practice?Erich Schiffman, Yogi Bhajan, and Pema Chodron. How would you describe your classes?Fun, thoughtful, exploratory, challenging, and rejuvenating. Before you became a yoga teacher, what did you do?I was a waitress-in-waiting for my true calling. Describe your ideal class (as a teacher).An ideal class starts with a thoughtful meditation practice, which flows into smooth opening poses and gradually into a standing and balancing series, then down to floor work. All the while being reminded of breath, subtle alignment cues and all important reminders of feeling, sensing and exploring the experience of stretch. Aside from yoga, what other hobbies or interests do you have?I love camping, rain or shine, traveling the globe, home renovations, worshipping the sun with a good page-turner, dining out, and yes, shopping! |
