His Kirtans are a joyous and spiritually uplifting journey into bliss! David will be joined by his wife Mira, a gifted devotional vocalist and percussionist. All are welcome!
Inner Fire Yoga

Join David for an inspirational blend of yoga, chanting, and meditation for a unified experience of healing and grace. We will explore the beautiful dance of sound and silence and the flow between movement and stillness. Inner Fire Yoga is a journey that begins with kirtan chanting, flows easefully into a heart centered asana practice and concludes with a chakra opening meditation. It is a healing journey that will guide your body into bliss, open your heart to love and bring your mind to peace. All are welcome!
The Yoga of Sound and Art of Chanting

Join David for a bliss-filled and inspirational journey into the art and practice of Kirtan. Kirtan, an ancient and transformative mantra practice, uses the power of sound to uplift the mind and open the heart! As well as group chanting, David will offer you insight and guidance into the meaning and healing applications of this ancient yet timely practice. All are welcome!

David Newman (Durga Das) is a widely recognized Chant Artist who travels extensively singing kirtan and offering workshops on the healing power of sound and the devotional and meditative aspects of the yoga path. David's music embodies a devotional mysticism, distinctive musicality, poetic intimacy and a deep respect for India's ancient chant tradition. His kirtans are joyous, ecstatic, uplifting and exploding with energy. David's CDs include Lotus Feet: A Kirtan Revolution, Soul Freedom, Leap of Grace: The Hanuman Chalisa, a CD/DVD set entitled Into the Bliss and his latest release Love, Peace, Chant.
