Kathryn Budig Weekend Workshops

UNF’WITHABLE

Friday, October 27th, 7:30pm-9:30pm

Learn to empower yourself through strong flow, challenging posture, focused mantras, and plenty of deep laughter. No need to be defined by the expectations of others any longer. Find peace and a place where zero drama can find or effect you.

The Hero’s Journey (Intermediate)

Saturday, October 28th, 12:30pm-2:30pm

Love adventure and rich stories about heroes, villains and mystical creatures? Take this vinyasa flow class inspired by the journey of the hero! From battling warrior poses, to flying monkeys of Oz, mystical arm balances to the enchantment of backbends—this class aims to challenge.  Enjoy this whimsical blend of story and yoga — ranging from Hindu myth to the Brothers Grimm — that will evoke laughter, creativity, and the beauty of story.

KICK YOUR FEET UP: ARM BALANCES

Saturday, October 28th, 3:30-5:30pm

Join Kathryn for a lighthearted workshop of exploration on our hands! This workshop is geared towards both fledglings of arm balances and full grown flyers. We will explore the foundation of arm balancing, the technicalities of leaving the ground on our hands and the playful mindset needed to maintain the balance. Beginners will learn how to enter these poses, advanced practitioners will learn new entries and possibilities. Come with any questions and leave with a refreshed spirit and richer understanding of these amazing postures.

Rewire Your Brain to Live the Life You Most Desire

Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Backbends

Sunday, October 29th, 12:30pm-2:30pm

Calling all yogis who dislike backbends (but secretly want to enjoy them)! We all deserve happiness in our pursuit of backbends, and this workshop is here to grant you those rights. Backbends can be glorious poses when done correctly. They open the heart, shoulders, and idea of what is possible. This workshop will break down the basic alignment and cues to keep our bodies safe and happy. We’ll use partner work and hands on adjustments to deepen our awareness and posture, and attempt a few backbends that are rarely seen in flow classes.

To the Moon and Back

Sunday, October 29th, 3:30pm-5:30pm

For those who love their practice to the moon and back but want to slow it down a little. This flow is infused with fluidity and movement, without that dramatic fire often associated with Vinyasa flow. Expect the feel-good flow of heart expanders, hip openers and constant movement to wring out anything weighing you down.

For 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified teachers the credits of the course can be applied towards the 500 hour certification, and is eligible for 12.5 hours CEU with Yoga Alliance. Continuing Education Units are required to maintain your status as a Registered Yoga Teacher.
