1. My current yoga wear obsession is definitely leggings. But, bold printed leggings? I think I’m in love! Made with a gorgeous cotton/spandex blend, these pants look and feel amazing. The elastic waistband and stretchy fabric add extra comfort, allowing for lots of movement. Alternative Apparel also prides themselves on being socially responsible and eco-friendly. Iron Scallop Alternative Apparel Leggings $52
2. I go everywhere with a bkr reusable water bottle. Made with BPA free glass and wrapped in a non toxic silicone sleeve. They’re durable, 100% recyclable, and for every bottle sold, bkr makes a donation to make clean water accessible in every part of the world! BKR Water Bottle in Canary Yellow $29
3. My go-to yoga look also includes a cute t-shirt or tank top, much like this Be Love Ahimsa top. Be Love promotes the practise of peace by donating 10% of all their sales go to Common Peace, an organization designed to help teach the principles of peace, nonviolence, and conflict resolution. The rest of their profits go towards funding other important forms of nonviolence education. Be Love ‘Ahimsa’ Tank $47
4. Since my little toes get chilly in class, I’m always sure to have a pair of Toe Sox with me. Their five toe design supports natural alignment of foot for better tactile movement and increased circulation. The non-slip bottom provides lots of grip during class. Plus, it’s hard not to smile while you have gloves on your feet! Toe Sox $17
5. It’s a great idea to carry a book around, as you never know when you might have some unexpected reading time! And there’s no better way to pass the time than with a compilation of inspiring quotes. Everyday Positive Thinking by Louise L. Hay $9.95
6. How could I go to class without my favourite yoga mat? My eco-friendly JADE Yoga Mat is all kinds of awesome. They have a great reuse and recycle program for their products, and they plant a tree for every mat sold! Jade Yoga Mat $96
7. Contrary to what some may think, a yoga bag doesn’t have to look like a gym bag! As long as it fits all of your things, something cute like this JADETribe bohemian printed tote bag is a great option. This hand woven tote bag is created from organic cotton and natural dyes by a village of women in Laos. All raw materials to create the natural dyes are grown in their village and each textile takes three days for the women to weave. JADETribe Printed Purse $142.50
All of the items in my yoga bag are from Semperviva’s Wst 4th location. There’s a limited quantities of these items, shop soon for the best selection.
