How-to Layer Your Yoga Wear

We had so much fun styling our friend Jen in some Semperviva yoga wear. We started out with a great basic yoga look, including two Alo Sport pieces. The tank is made specifically for yoga, running, and working out. It comes equipped with a built in bra for support and strategically placed mesh insets for breathability and ventilation. It’s also made of a medium weight nylon spandex with anti-bacterial technology that prevents the growth of odor-causing microbes, as well as moisture wicking properties which draw sweat away from the body. The Alo Sport pants are also made of a high-performance nylon spandex, with side seams and back yokes to flatter all body types. We love that Alo Sport exercises eco-friendly practices, such as a solar powered design house and numerous recycling programs.

As fall approaches, it will be necessary to layer essential pieces with your basic yoga wear. We chose a brand new Toyoga cardigan wrap for its soft feel and seven semi-precious crystals reflecting the seven chakras or energy centres of the human body. This includes Garnet, Carnilian, Citrine, Aventurine, Turquoise, Lapiz lazuli, and Amethyst. This one size fits all cotton lycra cardigan is extra cozy and very versatile. The best way to travel to and from your yoga class is a comfy pair of espadrilles and we just had to add a pop of colour with a Free to Be handmade scarf!

Alo Sport ‘Running Tech Tank’ $60.00
Alo Sport ‘Athletic Capri Legging’ $63.00
Free to Be Scarf in Salmon $40.00
Striped Espadrilles $26.00
Grey Toyoga Cardigan Wrap $126.50

A big thank you to our beautiful model Jen of Prairie Girl in the City. Who, by the way, loved the Alo Sport Capris so much that she purchased them after our photo shoot! You can also come style an outfit of your own with these pieces and more at our West 4th Semperviva location. It’s time to get started on your fall yoga wardrobe!
