The 40 Day Yoga Challenge: Are You Ready?

Our fabulous 40-day yoga challenge is back!

How it works:

Semperviva challenges you to complete one yoga class a day for 40 days! According to yogic science, forty consecutive days are required to form or break a habit. After the challenge, you will achieve better focus, a stronger body, improved health, and a reduction in stress. To fully benefit from this commitment to self-improvement, it is suggested to try different types of yoga. You will be exposed to a wide range of different yoga techniques, opening your mind and truly finding what works for you.

Many types of yoga are available at Semperviva. Try kundalini yoga for a fast-paced, detoxifying experience or a yin yoga class for more control and relaxation, as you hold yoga postures for several minutes, vinyasa power flow or hatha yoga. Check our yoga class schedule for more types of yoga, hours and locations.

Why should I try different yoga styles?

By attending different yoga classes, you will uncover a wide selection of yoga postures and broaden your physical and mental experience. This is the perfect opportunity for you to explore new yoga styles. The longer you practice yoga the more you get into a routine of having just a few styles in your repertoire. But just like anything in life, it’s good to break the routine and try something fresh. Who knows, maybe you will find a new love in kundalini yoga style or the slow yin flow.

And here is the truth:

The truth is, as humans we are naturally lazy, we love comfort and we like it easy. But by choosing an easy path, you do not uncover the amazing capacity of what you are capable of. This applies not only to your yoga practice. The stronger you become physically, the stronger your mind is.

There’s no better feeling than the sense of joy of accomplishment. If you can do a 40-day yoga challenge, you can virtually do anything! Come try it for yourself!

What matters:

You don’t have to be hard on yourself. You don’t have to become a super-yogi by the end of this challenge. What really matters is to do your best and forget the rest!
